We arrived at Bright Angel Lodge in Grand Canyon Village around 4:00 and checked into our cabin. The cabins are historic and formerly “rustic.” They are extraordinarily small by today’s MacMansion standards. Fortunately the bathrooms have been updated to 21st century materials and fixtures. One of our fellow Grand Canyon travelers called out to us, “Aren’t these cabins just the cutest, little things you have ever seen.” “Cute” and “little” were undoubtedly added to the lexicon just to describe these cabins. Right down to the Dutch Doors.
The cabins are a mere 150-200 feet from the south rim of the Grand Canyon.
