We headed north to Paso Robles to have dinner with my nephew, Joey. He and Sam, his girlfriend/partner in merriment had just moved in to their new house two weeks ago. We were stunned at how organized, decorated and fully settled into their house looked after a mere two weeks. Fresh paint, pictures hung, no sign of packing boxes anywhere. Amazing!
Joey gave us the grand tour. They have beautiful sunset views from the back yard. I am not posting pictures of their house because Joey’s parents haven’t seen it yet and I don’t want to steal Joey’s thunder. My brother, Dave, is expected to visit within the week.
We went to dinner with Joey at Estrella in downtown Paso Robles. Sam, who was traveling home from an out-of-town conference, was able to join us halfway through dinner. We had a wonderful time catching up on their lives and getting ideas for touristy things to do as we moved up the coast.
