One of the perks of this trip was Admiral’s Club membership. When we first planned this trip, Betty worked her frugal consumer magic and came up with a credit card offer that gave us an immediate 100,000 bonus miles + Admiral’s Club privileges for a year. The bonus miles allowed us to upgrade our coach class tickets to business class and the Admiral’s Club lounge has provided us with a quiet respite during other travels this past year. I was spoiled back in the days when I traveled internationally and company upgrades allowed me to fly first class. Business class was a much appreciated step up from our usual travel. Unfortunately, it all goes away at the end of July.
