It’s still early days, but we’re seeing real progress again. Paul and Amber arrived about 9:30 this morning. They looked as ragged as they said they felt. They said that neither of them had been able to sleep well. Amber left for a doctor appointment about 10:00. Paul resumed his work putting the wall cabinets in place. By the end of the day all of the cabinets were in. We are ready for the quartz contractor to arrive tomorrow to measure for the countertop.
This picture of the new location for the refrigerator drew my attention to another problem. The specs call for two light fixtures – either pendants or can lights – above the sink. Looks like the electrician and/or the drywall guy missed that. New holes in a new ceiling? Better now than after they get everything painted.
And tomorrow is supposed to be clear with temperatures in the low 60’s. A perfect day for replacing window #3.
