Hill Country Woodworks reaffirmed my faith that there are still some competent craftsmen in the construction universe. They sent email advising us that they were ready to deliver our dining table. They told us that they would arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 the following day. True to their word, they knocked on the door at 8:35. The table and each of the chairs came off the truck and into the house securely wrapped in blankets. One of the two delivery guys was one of the owners and the guy who took our original order.
- The table surface is bubinga. The chairs and table legs are maple.
- Bubinga has a reddish hue in natural light
Hill Country Woodworks’ craftsmen clearly care about their furniture. The guys lovingly stroked the surface of the table as they explained the care and treatment of their furniture. It was as if they were reluctant to abandon their baby to strangers who might not be as careful with it as they would like. We assured them that we’d take good care of their beautiful dining set.

It’s gorgeous!
