Things have slowed down. The timeline that Jason, the project manager, sketched out earlier in the week is only partially on track.
Day 3 was plumbing day. Tom, the plumber, capped off the old service line for the refrigerator’s ice maker and ran a new line to the new refrigerator location. It was also supposed to be window installation day for the 3 windows. Didn’t happen. The carpenter had to be pulled off to another job.
Day 4 (today) was rough-in inspections for the electrical and plumbing. Both passed! And it was supposed to be the NEW window installation day. Again, it didn’t happen. Maybe Monday is the day.
Jason stopped by to let me know that Monday is the new NEW window day and is also supposed to be sheetrock day. Cabinets are scheduled to go in on Tuesday. Color me skeptical.
